Sex-Skandal in US-Heimatschutzministerium!

Brian Doyle, stellvertretender Pressesprecher des Ministeriums, bandelte im Internet mit einer "14-Jährigen" an. Es war eine verdeckte Ermittlerin. Die Ermittlungen einer Polizeistelle zur Bekämpfung der Internet-Kriminalität in Florida ergaben, dass Doyle dem vermeintlichen Mädchen pornografische Filme schickte und sie zu sexuellen Handlungen anleitete.Nach der NASA- sowie der myspace-Affäre nun also auch noch das!

Da müsste man eigentlich annehmen, dass das hohe Wellen schlägt. Aber weit gefehlt. Die meisten Blogger scheinen sich laut technorati mehr für "Boot Camp" und "two worn-out diplomats, one fold-out bed", Pianka und "Tom Delay", Coglioni und Berlusconi, "Katie Couric" und "Cynthia Mckinney", Apple und Microsoft, "Ben Chappel" und Euroweb zu interessieren. Ok, Immigration, Integration -das spielt nicht nur bei uns in Deutschland derzeit eine Rolle, sondern auch in den USA. Aber alles andere? Unwichtig.

Homeland Security Child Molester? (A Fox Guarding the Chicken Coop?)

Bravo on the arrest of Brian Doyle, Deputy Press Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security.

Doyle was arrested for allegedly becoming involved in sexual online chat with police officials posing as a 14-year-old girl.

He supposedly not only chatted with the “young girl”, but also gave her his real name, transmitted pornographic movies and non-sexual photos of himself to her.

Some hardcore political hacks are gonna scream “Frame Job”, but it is gonna be a flimsy defense since the police reportedly arrested him at his home while online with “girl”.

This is just the type of work that is being conducted by Perverted Justice, who are doing everything they can to assist law enforcement or to report and provide evidence for potential prosecution.

But the problem is gonna continue.  It is horribly pervasive, the young man, Justin Berry, who just testified before Congress about his involvement in the world of cyber-predators, stated he had been contacted by something like 1,500 people from all walks of life.   

Concerning the arrest of Doyle…at least one news source used the term…”Child Seduction”.  That is just the type of attitude that minimalizes this type of crime.  Yes, technically the definition of “seduction” does fit, but in my book, it fails to convey the heinous nature of the crime…victimizing children.  Victimizing those least likely to be able to defend themselves, least likely to perceive the level of danger and those least likely to be believed if the report the crime.
